Building on a successful collaboration during the European Year of Cultural Heritage in 2018, ESACH and Europa Nostra decided to deepen their cooperation to further support the empowerment and capacity building of young heritage students & professionals.
Our 3rd ESACH Meeting 2020 Madrid, “Our common past, our future”, is organised by ESACH and the MA Cultural Heritage in the 21st Century: Management and Research (ESACH Madrid). It aims to innovate following the work done in the previous meetings in Girona (2018) and Genoa (2019). This meeting is open to ESACH's members and non-members. ESACH wants to commemorate the anniversary of the signing of the Convention Concerning the Protection of World Cultural and Natural Heritage (Paris, November 16, 1972) with a week dedicated to World Heritage knowledge highlighting seven "places that connect" Europe.
The European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018 came to an end last December, but its momentum and spirit must endure. Having this idea in mind ESACH starts its third year of existence facing the great challenge of continuing to reach young Europeans as a meeting point for students and young professionals of cultural heritage in the European Union.
